BOSTON MASSIVE - THE LOWDOWN
gathering for the race is 8:00PM @ BLACKSTONE SQUARE, in the south end on washington @ w newton/w brookline.
the party goes down at 10pm @ 7 sherman st., charlestown. careful in the sullivan square rotary, you want to be in all your pieces when getting to the party.
freestyle contest is free to enter, but you need to be there before 11 and come talk to me to let me know you're interested in competing for the $500 cash prize.
two simple rules:
"traffic incidents" get you DQ'ed from the race. some of you will hate this, but it's the way it is. you hit a car/get hit by a car/hit a ped/whatever, and i find out, you're out. keep it safe, and ride within your ability.
be respectful. to all volunteers, me, the party space, other racers/partiers, EVERYONE. for this night, be a nice person, or you're out of the race, and out of the party.
if you want to compete in the drinking contest, you need to bring a warm 12 pack (and don't drink it before the contest, needs to be unopened).
if you want to compete in the roller racing/gambling bracket, it's a minimum of $10 (to bet on yourself), but bring the $$$$ to throw down, cause you're going to want to place some bets.
we'll have refreshments, but you can definitely bring your own, and it is encouraged for you to do so, in order to keep the party going late with lubricant.
and for the sake of clarity: we are giving away 4 round trip plane tickets to the NACCC chicago. these tickets go to first male/female local, and out of town MESSENGERS. only messengers are eligible to compete in the NACCC, so you must be a messenger (present, working) in order to win tickets.
